MARKETING MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY
B&H Engineers is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to lead firmwide marketing initiatives and support business development efforts across multiple market sectors. This role works closely with leadership, business development, and technical teams to prepare proposals, manage branding efforts, coordinate events, and capture content that highlights the firm’s expertise and culture. The ideal candidate is a confident, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-growing environment, takes initiative, and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead preparation of qualifications, proposals, and client presentations, including scheduling, coordination of technical input, and final quality control
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing platforms and collateral
Manage website updates, digital content, and social media presence
Coordinate and attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences; capture photos, videos, and content for marketing use
Support public relations efforts, including award submissions, speaking opportunities, and industry recognition
Maintain CRM data, pursuit tracking, and marketing databases
Collaborate with leadership, business development, administrative, and technical teams to develop client-focused messaging
Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, templates, and internal processes
Support supervision and coordination of junior marketing staff, consultants, or interns as needed
Perform other duties as assigned to support firm growth and visibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional services marketing experience (AEC industry strongly preferred)
Proven experience in proposal development and brand management
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team
Professional presence and comfort in client-facing environments
Positive, professional, and receptive communication style; open to feedback and continuous improvement
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President of Corporate Development and works closely with the CEO, Business Development leadership, project managers, and technical staff across all disciplines. This role serves as a central point of coordination for proposals, branding, and external communications to ensure alignment with firm growth strategies.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is primarily office-based with regular attendance at client meetings, industry events, and conferences. Occasional evening or early-morning commitments may be required to support business development and marketing activities.

Registration: Mechanical Engineering registration preferred.
Experience: This position requires Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering or similar, and 5 or more years commercial/industrial/medical engineering consulting or design experience with a solid understanding of all major MEP systems.
B&H is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience designing building mechanical and plumbing systems. We are looking for someone with strong technical and engineering design skills to work as a team member on multidiscipline projects for a wide range of building types including educational, healthcare, governmental, and industrial facilities. Candidates must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and must be a strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment to be successful in this role.

Experience:
This position requires 10 or more years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
Generally responsible for supervision and technical direction over the delivery of projects individually as well as a lead engineer managing a team of engineers and designers. As a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer, responsibilities include total delivery of the electrical deliverables and services on time, within performance budget and meeting quality expectations. Duties may include performing advanced engineering work serving as a technical specialist for complex engineering assignments. Work at this level requires extensive experience in electrical engineering and involves utilization of project controls for cost, schedule and quality of projects. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
