  • Recipient of the American School & University Outstanding Design Award for the design-build project of a dining hall that would provide full service dining and fast-and-casual options for the campus
  • Demolished existing dining, kitchen, and lobby spaces
  • Build-out for new full-service kitchen and dining with grab-n-go deli, and laundry facilities
  • Expanded security and connectivity access
  • Improved life/safety with new fire suppression system and fire alarm system
  • Restroom reconfiguration to become ADA compliant which included adding new plumbing fixtures, millwork, and toilet accessories
  • Replaced emergency generator with new 30 kW, 277/480V 3 phase natural gas generator with exterior weatherproof enclosures with critical muffler
  • Electrical modifications included lighting and support for kitchen/dining upgrades, emergency generator, and power for data outlets and IT equipment

  • Initially slated as a renovation of a residence hall from 1963 it was determined the renovation could not be completed safely and successfully under budget
  • Worked with the design-build team to create a new structure that was within original budget
  • 800kW natural gas, 277/480C, 3 phase generator with an exterior weatherproof housing and capacity to operate the whole building
  • Separate ATS for the life safety loads
  • Utilized the campus’ central plant for both chilled water and steam and the existing domestic water supply and sewer system

Health Science Center Alzheimer's Imaging Research Suite

  • Renovation of Alzheimer’s Imaging Research Suite in the UNT HSC Institute for Translational Research which focuses on precision medicine approaches to brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases
  • Two 3T MRI suites
  • Worked within strict guidelines provided by the manufacturer for the 2 PET/CT suites
    which include a radioactive isotopes laboratory
  • Renovated prior auditorium and classroom spaces into working laboratories and new passageways between work areas and classes
  • Extended primary system into several projects and added transformers for facility

  • Designed for sensitive environment  of adjacent auditorium and classrooms
  • Thermal comfort and noise issues addressed in both acoustics quality and energy efficiency
  • Replaced pumps, piping, and air handling systems throughout
  • Solved water intrusion in the basement
