  • Performed domestic hot water usage calculations to verify  existing system had the correct capacity to serve the 9th-floor project
  • Determined whether the buildings existing electrical service had adequate capacity, if the existing electrical panels could be utilized, and if the panel feeders properly terminated per code

  • Renovation of historic 12-story hotel
  • Assessment of MEP & FP to determine condition and provided report for what needed replacing
  • Provided Construction Documents that contained designs for the HVAC system, including heating and cooling load calculations, duct layouts, diffuser, and grilled locations, fire protection design, connection and switching for new lighting fixtures
  • Provided electrical power plan which had connections of new required mechanical equipment, electrical panel schedules, diagrammatic plumbing piping layouts, sanitary sewer drainage system designs, plumbing fixture connections schedule and details
  • Designed Central Utility Plant (CUP) for both chilled water and hot water, a central system for outside air treatment, a fire pump and domestic water booster, a backup generator, and a main electrical service
  • Performed energy code system calculations for the required verification of compliance and the mechanical and electrical specifications
